Activision reveals Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3; screens, trailers, and release date inside

Over the weekend, Activision unveiled the next entry to one of the biggest franchises in gaming, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

Alongside game’s debut announcement, the publisher unleashed four teaser trailers, each featuring a various city from the world. Also, new screenshots of in-game weapons, vehicles, maps, character models and concept art for Modern Warfare 3 have hit the net, which you can view here.

The title is in development by Sledgehammer Games, with multiplayer being handled by Raven Software. Players will traverse many new locations in single-player seeing the return of beloved characters such as Captain John “Soap” MacTavish and Captain John Price. Also, players will take the role of a new Russian operative named Yuri who works for Nikolai Belinski on some of the missions.
