It may seem a little early to be thinking about the holiday shopping season, but then you remember that Black Friday is only a little over a month away (!). As such, it makes sense that Sony already have their Black Friday PS3 bundle all figured out, and a leak from a person claiming to be an employee at a box manufacturer seems to have revealed it.
The employee, who goes by Scream777 on the Slickdeals forums, posted pictures of a few boxes that Sony seem to have under commission. Most interestingly, there’s a picture of a “Complete Entertainment Bundle,” which claims to include a 160 GB PS3, a copy of both Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One and LittleBigPlanet 2 Special Edition (currently unannounced), and a one month subscription to PlayStation Plus for a savings of “over $165.” The box Scream777 posted, however, has a typo that misspells the word “stereoscopic,” which has led to more than a few raised eyebrows.
Also posted on the Slickdeals forums were pictures of boxes for two unannounced PlayStation Move bundles. One is simply called a “Mayhem Edition,” which includes copies of Killzone 3 and Resistance 3, a PlayStation Eye, a Sharpshooter, a Move controller, and a navigation controller. The other bundle is for the upcoming Goldeneye 007 Reloaded “Double O Edition,” which includes the previously mentioned PS Move components and a copy of Goldeneye 007 Reloaded.
So I guess we can look forward to those things being announced in the near future.
