DmC: Devil May Cry gets a release date

Looks like we finally know when we can get our hands on the upcoming Devil May Cry reboot — DmC will be available on January 15, 2013.

This latest installment has developer Ninja Theory recounting protagonist Dante’s earlier years, but with a modern setting. Publisher Capcom is boasting a much more intense style in this title, while retaining the unique and fluid combat mechanics that fans have come to love. Though Dante may look a bit different as well, Capcom also assures us that he has retained his self-assured personality.

If a release date just isn’t enough for you, then you will be happy to know that E3 should bring even more details involving DmC, so be sure to look for it then. Again, DmC will be available January 15, 2013.

  1. This game was announce in 2010. What’s the point of it coming out in 2013. It should have been out late last year or early this year.

    • This happens a lot in the game industry. Games will get announced very early and not be out sometimes for 2 or 3 years. It doesn’t happen all the time, but it isn’t super rare either. Usually, when that happens, they announce the game for hype when it is just entering development.
