Audio tools manufacturer Blue Sky has revealed the first ever off-screen images of Splinter Cell 6, featuring Sam Fisher back in his classic espionage gear, fully equipped with pistol and night vision goggles. The splash image also displays the name “Broken Arrow” underneath the main title. Could this be the name of the upcoming new Splinter Cell from Ubisoft Toronto?
The title was first announced last year by charming game producer Jade Raymond.
“We’re working on Splinter Cell 6, the next iteration of the blockbuster franchise, and we’re doing it entirely here in Toronto,” said Raymond.
The new Toronto studio opened with 83 employees and is planned to grow to 800 within the next ten years. Splinter Cell Conviction introduced some new gameplay mechanics to the series such as “Mark & Execute” and “Last Known Position” and it will be it will be interesting if those features carry over into the next installment.
