Square Enix has announced and released the first trailer for IO Interactive’s upcoming title Hitman Absolution.

The brief 27 second teaser features Agent 47 applying a suppressor to his weapon and then the video cuts to a rattlesnake coiled around the pistol. As the trailer ends, numbers are highlighted in red, 110706 and 47. The 47 stands for Agent 47, however what is suspicious are the other highlighted numbers. Could the numbers represent a date or is there no specific meaning to them?

“Hitman Absolution follows Agent 47, a cold blooded assassin, who takes on his most dangerous contract to date,” said Square Enix. “Betrayed by those he trusted and hunted by the police, he finds himself at the centre of a dark conspiracy and must embark on a personal journey through a corrupt and twisted world, in his search for the truth.”
