Javelin glitch fixed in latest Modern Warfare 2 patch

The infamous Modern Warfare 2 Javelin glitch has now been fixed in the game’s latest patch.

You can now download a 15MB patch, 1.06, for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The most significant fix solves the Javelin exploits, which turned soldiers into makeshift suicide bombers.

Although Microsoft was keen to suspend players who exploited the glitch, Sony felt it best for Infinity Ward to release the patch. So, at last, PS3 gamers can now relax from the fear of irrational bombers. Now you’ll just have to fear tactical nukers.

Among other things, the patch also stops players walking through walls and and solves a reported issue with care packages.
