As many of you know, the Skate franchise released onto the scene out of virtually no where to knock down the series of games that has ruled the genre for over ten year, Tony Hawk Pro Skateboarding. Since that time, Electronic Arts has done everything in its power to develop sequels for its Skate franchise that will further the success of the brand as well as its domination of the genre. Now, the franchise is onto its third installment and it looks as though they have no plans of slowing down.

The development team behind Electronic Art’s upcoming sequel, Skate 3, has recently conducted a video interview that should whet the appetite of many fans of the series.

We’ve included bullet points of the some the newest details below.

• Skate will revolve around creating your own brand name in the skating industry and making it famous.
• Gamers will also have to take their brand and create a team of skaters around it whether it be AI Created skaters or friends.
• Your Skate team will be responsible for selling skateboard with their logo on it. The ultimate goal is to move 1,000,000 boards.
• Once your team reaches a certain popularity point. You will receive a Skate team headquarters in order to have your own skate park designated for your team.
• If you reach a challenge you can’t best in Single-player, Skate 3 allows you to invite a friend into your game to help you with it. This will complete the challenge both in your game and in your friends single-player campaign as well.
