Playdead’s universally acclaimed puzzle platformer Limbo was one of the most intense games of the past years, as it had a unique aesthetic, simple controls and featured a very inventive puzzle design. Originally, the game was exclusively released on Xbox Live, but PlayStation 3 owners will be able to play it in just two weeks.
According to the PlayStation Blog, Limbo will be out in the United States on July 19, almost a year after the release of the XBLA version of the game. In Europe, it’ll be out a day later, on July 20. Release dates for Japan and the rest of Asia haven’t been conformed yet.
Furthermore, according to its official website, Limbo will be out on Steam August 2 worldwide, and its soundtrack will be available on iTunes next Monday, July 11, presumably for $4.99.
