Ridge Racer Unbounded will launch across EMEA regions and Australasia on March 2, 2012, publisher Namco Bandai has announced.
The game is in development at Finnish studio Bugbear Entertainment, the team behind the 2007 PSP port of Sega Rally, and is promised to offer full environmental and vehicular destruction as players race through Shatter Bay in both single-player and multiplayer.
“Ridge Racer Unbounded brings the high-octane racing that the series is known for and injects new layers of destruction and carnage to the already intense formula,” said Olivier Comte of Namco Bandai Partners.
“With the new sophisticated City Creator, fans can easily create an unlimited number of tracks and share them with their friends for limitless replay value.”
It will be hitting PS3, as well as Xbox 360 and PC. For those who are yet to check it out, find a recent trailer for the game below.
