The team over at Naughty Dog is going to have to build a small room in their new studio in order to house all of the awards that this year has brought. Not only have they cashed in every Game of the Year award known to man, but they’ve also taken home several other awards for Uncharted 2 as well.
Tonight, that tradition of excellence continued at the GDCA ceremony when it was announced that Uncharted 2: Among Thieves is once again the winner of Game of the Year.
We’d like to congratulate Naughty Dog and their deeply talented roster of individuals for everything that they’ve accomplished this year and we are excited to see more from them in the future.
Now hopefully this will make more people go out and actually BUY the game instead of just talking about how great it is.

Awards are STILL being handed out? Oh, well. Good game. Not GOTY material IMO, WAY overrated, but still a good game.

@TRF sorry man, if 50 million awards don’t mean goty i don’t know what is. anyways for what it’s worth, i always knew this game was destined for greatness. the awards really mean nothing in the end, but its good to know their being recognized for their hard work and efforts.
@ reneid klein really, because i think 3.5 million is plenty, considering that it sold faster than any of the playstation exclusives. have u even been paying attention to any of the forum posts?
most interesting thing is that uncharted 2 won under some stiff competition 2009 was the best year for games in long time, and an PS3 exclusive won. that’s a huge achievement IMO
So that’s why they’re expanding the studio.. they need more room for their awards….
Naughty Dog FTW. I love Uncharted, but now I wanna see what else these guys have under their sleeves.
