Oddworld Inhabitants to hit PSN hard this week

Fans of Abe’s Odyssey and Abe’s Exodus are going to have reason to spend a decent chunk of money this week on PlayStation Network as Oddworld Inhabitants have announced they plan on releasing both titles on Thursday. Speaking on the Official PlayStation Blog, Lorne Lanning, Co-Founder of the development studio, stated, “We couldn’t have been more thrilled when we learned that the PlayStation Network was willing to offer our classic Abe games to an entirely new generation of gamers.”

“Finally, gamers who never got the chance to meet and play him when he first came out on the PSone system, will now get that chance to meet the guy who graced many magazine covers and proved the unlikely hero that captured people’s hearts.”

Scheduled to release on October 22nd, both Abe titles are cult favorites from the PlayStation family of gamers. Both titles will hit the PlayStation Store at an honest $9.99. For those wanting to know about Munch’s Odyssey and Stranger’s Wrath, Lanning made sure to let gamers know that they’re working on bringing those to the Store as well.

“We’re working on a strategy to bring them over as well. May take us awhile, but we hope to achieve what you’re asking for.”
