Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath HD will be hitting the PlayStation Network later this month, it’s been announced.

In a post on the PlayStation Blog, Stewart Gilray, CEO of developer Just Add Water, revealed that the game will be releasing on December 21 in Europe (£9.99/€12.99) and December 27 in North America ($14.99).

“As most of you may know we originally planned to release the game around Easter, to be able to do that we were to have started full development in September last year, but as it transpired, we didn’t actually start until April 2011, which gave us out hoped late Summer release; but we ended up spending another couple of months on it, so here we are DONE AND DUSTED for release,” he said.

Gilray added that promised 3D and PlayStation Move support won’t feature in the launch version of the game, but assures that an update will emerge in the coming months.
