You know those memory cards that Sony have said are going to be required for save data in some games, despite the fact that game cards will have room to save patches and the like? Were you afraid that they’d be too expensive as a result? The good news is that you were right. Of course, that’s also the bad news.
The prices for the memory units will be $29.99 for 4GB of storage, $44.99 for 8GB, $69.99 for 16GB or $119.99 for 32GB. Considering that you can buy a 32GB SD card for slightly more than 4GB of Vita storage, it’s pretty ridiculous. However, if you want to do things like save your Uncharted: Golden Abyss progress or download games from PSN, you’re going to have to play ball.
