We’re not sure how the guys over at the Official Sony Blog are going to do it, but they’re going to have their work cut out for them this week. Last week’s PlayStation Store update took up quite a long page, but this week is the launch of the PlayStation Portable Go! and Sony has claimed 16,000 pieces of downloadable content will be available for it. It’s hard to imagine that the blog is going to be able to identify and list every piece of the PSP content this week, isn’t it?
According to the manufacturer, the content will be comprised of approximately 255 downloadable titles (that is, a mixture of full PSP titles, PSN exclusives, UMD legacy titles and Minis) alongside 2300 films and 13,000 television episodes.
This gives off the impression that there is going to be a little of something for everyone. With titles like God of War Chains of Olympus, Gran Turismo, and Final Fantasy: Crisis Core being made available from day one, I find it difficult to believe that Sony won’t make a lot of money this upcoming Thursday. Anyway, we’ll be sure to bring you the full content details with this Thursday’s launch.
