Sony’s latest North American commercial is unexpected

Just when you thought Sony had found its footing with Kevin Butler, they throw that curveball at you out of no where. That isn’t to say that their new direction is a bad one; in fact, it’s an incredible commercial that feels like a long time coming.

Today, Sony released a new commercial detailing exactly how many North American consoles it has sold. Oddly enough, the video’s impact on audiences should be both positive and adrenaline pumping. The music selection is perfect and the selection of visuals couldn’t have been better.

Check it out below.

  1. Damn, that was an awesome commercial. I doubt they’ll continue to do those, though, those are more like one-time commercials. Kevin Butler’s are classics.

  2. is the link dead or something? the video isnt showing up…

  3. Sony takes pride in that slogan, It only does everything, because its true.

I wonder how many messages kyle45kng, jerOme415 and jimmanwow will receive after this commercial. And Starship Troopers is the blu-ray being put into the PS3, haha.

What’s the game being played at 0:19? I could recognize most of them except that racing game too. Good commercial but not as memorable as the Kevin Butler ones.

@VofEscaflowne Its GT5 XD for the racing game (for one of them atleast) The one at 19 is probably FFX13 or DemonSouls or White Knight Chronicles.
