Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition — Possibly Coming to Consoles?

For the longest time, Capcom has denied plans to port the Arcade Edition of Super Street Fighter IV to consoles. They would much rather have fans focusing on the recently released Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds. However, it appears their plans may have changed.

Korea’s Game Rating Board has recently rated Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition . . . twice. This means that the game could potentially be ported to the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 (which would explain the two separate ratings).

Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition is a rebalanced version of Super Street Fighter IV that includes newcomers Evil Ryu and Oni Akuma, as well as Yun and Yang from Street Fighter III.

Capcom’s annual press event, Captivate, is but a few weeks away (April 6th to be exact), which would be a perfect opportunity to announce these ports.
