Test Drive Unlimited 2 announced – screens inside

Atari Inc and Eden Games have officially announced Test Drive Unlimited 2 is in development. The first installment into this franchise included a seamless game play style between offline racing and online racing. This seamless style of play allowed for gamers to cruise through the environments of TDU while coming across other drivers who they could challenge and square off against.

With test Drive Unlimited 2, the development team is looking to take that same concept and bring it to the next level. Apparently, the entire game world will be dynamic with no visual boundaries created between the offline and online world. This should definitely make for an exciting racing game and should be a big hit with our Aussie Racing Crew on the forum.

Atari hasn’t given a release date, but they have released three screenshots of the game — which you can view here.

I never played any of the Test Drive Series but it won’t match up with Grand Turismo 5, now that’s the game to get, I’ll probably skip this one or do some research on the Prequels of this new game.

  14. Great news, screen-shots look great.
