THQ watch out for EA MMA — Debut gameplay footage

UFC 2009 may of hit the gaming industry in a flurry of success last year, but this year’s EA Sports’ MMA is looking to do the exact same. After viewing the debut gameplay footage (included below), UFC 2010 may have its hands full with some stiff competition. EA’s execution of the sport looks dead on and it should appease any hardcore MMA fighting fanatic with its StrikeForce roster and top of the world fighters.

Check out the full debut trailer below.

  1. Looking good, but it these games seem totally inaccessible to those that don’t know squat about MMA, like me. I played the demo for UFC 2009 and I didn’t win a single time… I just wanted to beat up some d00dz, but I guess I’m confined to WWE and Fight Night. 🙁

  2. I hope MMA is as good as UFC 2009.

  3. The Fight Night Round has been awesome this generation. If EA can bring a title with the same quality of those or more, then those who buy it will be in for a treat.

  4. MMA looks aite, im looking more forward to UFC…..the only guy i really like from MMA is Cung Le 😀

ohhh if only he’d join UFC

  5. I dont know anything about MMA so a miss for me. Would be nice if u could create your own character

  6. This is what I’ve been waiting for. I started watching PRIDE FC back in the day, and it left a bigger impression on me than UFC ever did. Better rules, better fights, better fighters, etc. People think they know MMA because they know Chuck Liddell or Brock Lesnar, but they couldn’t tell you who Bas Rutten, Fedor, Aoki, Sakuraba, or any of the other great fighters are. The only bad thing about both of these games(UFC and EA MMA) is that we have a bunch of kids thinking they’re cool wearing the clothing brands and think they’re expert grapplers because they learned some moves from the game.
