Two spacey new screenshots for Bioware’s Mass Effect 3

Bioware just released two never before seen images (via GameInformer) today for their upcoming sci-fi RPG, Mass Effect 3. The screenshots feature Commander Shepard fighting Cerberus forces on the Salarian homeworld. Check them out below.

Those interested in storyline should know that things that took place in the original title will play a part in Mass Effect 3. “Decisions through all of the Mass Effect games, including the DLC, will matter for Mass Effect 3,” said Bioware’s Christina Norman in a March interview with GameRant. “It’s not just like decisions that carried over from ME1 to ME2 will matter in ME3, they’ll be decisions in ME1 that did not visibly impact ME2 that will have an impact in ME3.”

Mass Effect 3 is scheduled to release Q4 2011 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
