Clearly Sony and Valve’s bad blood is behind them as Valve has released details for their full support of Steam in Portal 2 on the PlayStation 3, showing options for cross-platform support with PC and MAC, but also users who buy the PS3 version get both PC/MAC versions free.

Portal 2 will allow cross platform matchmaking, gameplay, friends, chat, achievements, and SteamCloud support (ability to save single-player spots and pick up from any console). Also, Portal 2 PS3 players will be able to utilize Steam’s in-game overlay for friend profiles, text chats, and game invites.

Read here for the official press release. Portal 2 releases April 19th in US, April 21st in Europe and AU.
