Tecmo Koei, the developers behind the Dynasty Warriors franchise, have recently announced Warriors Orochi 3 will be heading for our shores on March 20 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 with a bigger character roster, new story, expanded gameplay elements, and much more.
Fans will remember that Warriors Orochi plays much like the Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors titles, even taking characters from both franchises. This time, however, characters from games such as Ninja Gaiden, Warriors: Legends of Troy, Bladestorm, Trinity: Souls of Zill O’ll, and Dead or Alive. With these inclusions, the roster has been increased to 120+ characters.
More new features include a three-character tag team, two-player split-screen co-op, and a two-player online Story Mode and Free Mode, as well as a special bond system that allows players to increase the bonds between characters by completing missions, rescuing allies, etc.
