Zipper Interactive, whom you may know as the developers behind the popular SOCOM series and MAG, have today announced a brand new for the PlayStation Vita, Unit 13.
Unit 13 is a third-person action game, allowing players to choose from six different operatives to take on 36 different missions that range in scope, from small battles to “longer, more challenging, multi-objective missions.” You will also be able to tackle missions via co-op with a buddy.
Unit 13 also takes advantage of the Vita’s 3G connectivity. The game will keep track of leaderboard ranks for you and your friends and notify you when you’ve been bested, as well as letting you know about daily challenges.
Unfortunately, there’s no word on competitive multiplayer just yet. With Zipper’s history of multiplayer releases, we suspect it’s only a matter of time before something is announced. In the meantime, check out a few screenshots below:
