Anyone who has enjoyed the Fallout series over the last two decades knows that the environments have always been massive and offered up more than enough content to keep a gamer busy for quite some time. However, today, the guys behind the official strategy guide for the game let loose some details about how big you can expect New Vegas to actually be. For those of you who haven’t played Fallout 3, but are planning to pick up New Vegas, you’re going to be blown away.
According to the Guide, New Vegas features 200 mapped locations as well as 200 more bonus locations that are up to you to discover. Furthemore, the game features 20 listed quests within the storyline, but also offers up 70 side quests and 90 free quests that you can come across during your adventure. Considering the amount of game time that this will all add up to, the $60 you’re spending looks like it is more than worth what you’re getting in return.
Also — There is a strong chance New Vegas will receive DLC if Fallout 3 is anything to go by, so that should extend the game even further. Regardless, Fallout: New Vegas is shaping up to be one ridiculously large ride.
