In a recent press conference to talk about their Q2 Financial reports, Square-Enix President Yoichi Wada strongly hinted that, their much anticipated game Final Fantasy XIII could see a release in the west within the current fiscal year.

For those that might not be aware, the 2009 fiscal year ends on March 31, 2010, which would indicate that fans might see FFXIII before or during March 2010. We hope it’s true and will cover the story when a more concrete release date is announced.

Final Fantasy XIII is due out in Japan December 17, 2009 exclusively for the PS3.

hopefully they wont try to rush it idc how long it takes just dont rush it and give us a sloppy translation

  4. Square already announced the release date to be April 15.

  5. At 4
This means that the game may come out before that.

  6. It’s a PS3 exclusive? I thought it was a multiplat?

  7. I hope they release it later and continue working on it, We have already seen the downgrade because of the 360 hopefully they can bring it back up but IDK if there gonna release it early I think there just not gonna give a shit and release it so they get the money faster, I mean they almost have too for the fact that there only releasing games so far on the 360 and none of them are selling well! Let’s hope they look at there mistakes and start making PS3 exclusives again, which they might when they start to see how much there big games are gonna sell on the PS3 over the 360!
