This is the first episode for PlayStation University TV. As we previously mentioned in our complete redesign, Goolgey from YouTube will be taking on the responsibility of producing a weekly news show for PlayStation fans around the world. In this week’s episode he discusses Sony’s decision to lack 3D support for LittleBigPlanet 2 and how Resistance 3 will be making its debut at Spike TV’s VGA 2010.

Check out our first full episode below and don’t forget to answer the Question of the Week!

  1. apparently the video is private

    • Yes, I have no idea what is going on. I have it set to Public and I’ve set it to Public roughly 10 times now and it continually defaults to private anyways.

  2. Is public now.

  3. Heh next time I suggest the camera be on fixed focus because it auto-focused a couple of times for relatively no reason. Just some constructive criticism 😀 great video other than that

  4. For some reason the embedded video gets cut off so only the left-mid side of the video shows.

I recommend that goolgey uses cuts to increase the flow of the video and to get rid of the uhs and ums.

  5. What!!!? Are you kidding me? How on earth can SONY get my hopes up and so many others about this 3D thing only to throw us right back off the cliff?

I hope to God that either this is a marketing ploy in some way or that they are gonna announce that there will be 3D without the glasses.

  6. games represent an interactive experience unlike any other medioum
one day we will sureley be playing games in fully emersible lifelike 3d enviroments, the move and the stereoscopic 3d are just this first baby step towards that futhure, so while right now 3d games are not nessesary for most people, its gona help a LOOT for futhure games, but only if todays developers explore this feature as much as posible, so yea while stsc 3d cuts the framerate by half it helps crete a 3d market witch will enable 3d to take of as a futhure mediom standard
mayby you dont know this but by featuring new disc reading technology into theire consoles, sony helped cd r, dvd and bd become a market standard,
by buying 3d content you the consumer help create a futhure standard, witch at the end is a vin-vin scenario

  7. i was an early adopter of 3d and i have to say buying a 3dtv was worth every penny!!!
i love how it looks like there’s a room inside my tv like the characters actually have a world to run around in. when your outside if you look at your house or a car from a corner angle and try to imagine it as a flat image,it doesnt work. it doesnt work because its un-natural, i think it will become a standard format. the one thing that i’ve noticed is that developers aren’t taking advantage of the depth i would love to look down a corridor and see that a dev has added as much depth as possible and remove crosstalk!!!!

  8. glad you satrted doing a weekly video again as i remember you started but stopped about year ago (please DONT STOP AGAIN)plus great video and bring in more vidio reviews as like me many people cant be bothered to read three pages of writing.
