Soul Calibur V Announced

Namco Bandai today has announced that Soul Calibur V is now in development and set for a 2012 release.

Not many details were released, but we know that the game is set 17 years after the events of Soul Calibur IV. The game follows Patroklos, son of Sophitia Alexendra, whose “family destiny intertwines with the Soul swords.”

Namco promises a refined battle system and improved graphics. We will be getting more information including footage at E3 in June.
