Amazon.com has recently updated its Heavy Rain game page with a new boxart for Quantic Dream’s upcoming title. While this was done a couple of days ago, we wanted to wait and see if any official confirmation would come via the PlayStation Blog (as it normally would).
Despite the silence, it would seem that the switch of covers is a legitimate move by Amazon and it may have been done prematurely.
We’ve included the new cover below. Is it better than the European cover?
[UPDATE] – The US PlayStation Blog has now belatedly revealed the game’s American boxart, and yes, it’s still the one below.
European box art looks better IMO.
But whatever I’ve got my pre orer in for this game and can’t wait to play it soon.

Strange. The rest of the internet think this is terrible and is dumbing it down for America. Artistically I prefer the European one, but this one serves its purpose well.
