Electronic Arts divulges release info for upcoming titles

In a conference call with investors last night, EA CEO John Riccitiello disclosed information in regards to some of Electronic Arts’ release window for upcoming titles. As many of you can guess, this included such games as Dead Space 2, EA MMA, Crysis 2 and even the upcoming Criterion-developed, Need for Speed.

Riccitiello confirmed that all of EA’s upcoming heavy hitters (including yearly releases) will release within the 2011 Fiscal Year. For those of you unaware, the 2011 Fiscal Year runs from April 1, 2010 to March 31, 2011. This is an extremely large window for release, but at least it’s something, right?

According to Riccitiello, “a great new version of Medal of Honor, a revitalized Need for Speed, Sims on console, FIFA in a World Cup year, an innovative and new take on Madden, Dead Space 2, Crysis… an MMA game, and many others,” can be expected to release during that time.
