Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds, which was released yesterday in North America and will release on February 17 and February 18 in Japan and Europe, respectively, is getting its first batch of downloadable content on March 1.
The DLC pack includes alternate costumes for Thor, Captain America, Iron Man, Dante, Chris Redfield, and Ryu. These alternate costumes are actually more than just simple costume changes, as most of them actually change the character model.
Another bit of downloadable content is Shadow Mode, which, according to the Capcom Unity blog, allows players to construct a team of fighters and fight against specific teams that are modeled after those of famous players. For example, one of the first three teams available will be the team of Ryota Niitstuma (the game’s producer), as well as AI that replicates Niitsuma’s playing style.
Each of these DLC packs will be available for 400 Microsoft Points on Xbox LIVE Marketplace and $5 on the Playstation Network Store.
