Sony has unveiled the release date for Infamous 2 will be June 7th 2011 in North America.
Also announced was the collectors edition called the Infamous 2 Hero edition for $99. Included is a 8.5″ Cole Statue, sling pack with the likeness of the in game pack, the #1 mini comic from DC Comics, game soundtrack, and a voucher code for in game content.
The items included with the voucher are: Kessler skin, 24K Gold Amp, Electrocution Grenade Power, and Lightning Hook Power. These are the same pre-order bonuses for Walmart, Best Buy, Amazon, and Gamestop. So instead of having to pre-order or scrounge up codes from everywhere this is your solution.
June 7th? That’s awesome. It’ll give me something to play over the summer.
Hero Edition is too pricey for my liking, but it does look cool. I’ll definitely be picking this up day one.
