For those of you excited for Obsidian Entertainment’s upcoming fantasy role-playing title Dungeon Siege III, Square Enix has published over 40 new screenshots displaying some of the mystical characters, creatures, and levels players will find throughout the game.

The combat in Dungeon Siege 3 consists of three stances, two offensive and one defensive, with blocking playing a crucial part of the game. Each stance can be switched to at any time and special abilities, attacks, or spells are mapped to each button. According to Co-optimus, Dungeon Siege 3 will support four player online and with two player split-screen co-op with drop-in and drop-out features.

Dungeon Siege 3 releases June 17th in Europe, June 21 in US for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Windows PC.  View over the 40 new photos here. Check out a few of them below.
