Unsurprisingly, Bethesda’s Fallout: New Vegas released in the United Kingdom last week and immediately skyrocketed to the number one spot in the software charts. With 60% of its sales coming from the 360, 30% from PlayStation 3, and 10% from PC Gamers, New Vegas was able to dethrone Medal of Honor and continue to push FIFA 11 further down the chart to the third spot.
Nintendo DS owners welcomed the new installment to the Professor Layton franchise at number four and from there on out it was nothing but disappointment for newcomers to the list. Oddly enough, Vanquish didn’t even crack the Top 10 this week, but instead debuted at 12.
Electronic Arts’ MMA title hit the chart at 23, which is terribly disappointing for such a class title and Activisions DJ Hero 2 performed even worse at 25. Hopefully both titles can run a marathon rather than a sprint and see an increase in sales through word of mouth, otherwise both titles may be canned before they’re already off the ground for future sequels.
I am a little surprised that the 360 version of New Vegas doubled the PS3 version in Europe.
@victorgodamnsullivan
thats because europeans like me hawe their money and eyes on gt5, kz3, lbp2, infamous2, last guardian, resistance3, and the list goes on
… wait!
new wegas was released?

The PS3 version of Fallout 3 was notoriously bad for graphical and performance issues (even more so than the other versions)… This probably led to some apprehension as to the quality of the PS3 version of New Vegas.
im going to buy the PS3 version when i finish the game im playing at the moment.
Did they patch the glitches in the game because i heard that it was very glitchy. Well i kinda expected glitches from a bethesda game lol (i know its made by obsidian but they are using bethesdas engine which automatically makes it glitchy lol)
