This morning a website appeared which seemed to be counting down to the reveal of Modern Warfare 3. According to Activision it is nothing but a hoax.
An Activision spokesperson issued this statement to IGN this afternoon.
“There seems to be a great deal of speculation about the next Call of Duty project. Let me be clear that we are not revealing yet. Anything indicating otherwise is a hoax.”
IGN also asked if they were revealing anything else on Wednesday which they replied with a swift “nope”.
Despite this we know another Call of Duty is coming out this year, but we might have to wait until E3 for its reveal.
