New Assassin’s Creed DLC Detailed

A new downloadable content pack will be released for Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood on the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. Entitled “The Da Vinci Disappearance,” this pack will add both single-player and multiplayer content to the game.

The single-player portion sends players after Leonard Da Vinci when he is abducted by a group of cultists. In addition, new locations and gameplay features will be added, but Ubisoft has refused to elaborate on these additions.

The multiplayer component adds a new map called Alhambra, as well as four new characters and two new modes: Assassinate and Escort. Assassinate is a team deathmatch-style game type with six to eight players. Escort has two teams of four protecting their VIP while attempting to assassinate the enemy’s VIP. According to Ubisoft, this multiplayer add-on is the largest Assassin’s Creed expansion to date.

The Da Vinci Disappearance costs 800 Microsoft Points on Xbox LIVE Marketplace and $10 on Playstation Network and will release sometime in March.
