Capcom releases new images for Dragon’s Dogma

Capcom has unleashed a batch new screenshots for their upcoming open world RPG Dragon’s Dogma. Developed by some of the same creators that brought us Devil May Cry 4 and Resident Evil 4, Dragon’s Dogma takes players on an epic adventure where the storyline stands alone in style, scope and substance.

The game is developed utilizing Capcom’s proprietary MT Framework engine, allowing for a “vast, richly detailed world, ripe for exploration.” In addition, players will be able to interact with hundreds of fully voiced NPCs, as well as fight a large variety of creatures, including goblins, griffins, harpies and dragons.

Dragon’s Dogma is currently being developed for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 and is expected to release sometime in 2012. View all the newly released screenshots in our gallery here. Also, be sure to view the hyrda battle gameplay trailer below.

Looks really cool. Probably a day one for me. I love fantasy games.
