You know how you need water and food to live? That’s kind of like what it’s like for people living in the United Kingdom when it comes to footy as well. Even with all of the pageantry, hooligans, and rivalries of the world’s best football clubs, what else would you expect the populace to care about? As expected, FIFA 11 skyrocketed up the sales charts in the UK upon its release last week and was met with the third largest opening ever. Surprisingly enough, FIFA 11 opened with an increase of 21% in sales compared to FIFA 10. Furthermore, the week saw Bungie’s Halo Reach fall two spots on the chart as the 360 exclusive was met with a 45% decrease in sales from the previous week.
