Yesterday it was revealed that The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim would be receiving a day-one patch across all platforms. Today we know exactly what the patch will address. Get yourself comfortable, because it’s a doozy. The patch will fix the following:
- Minor stability issues
- Quest progression issues
OK, so maybe it’s not so big. Still, it’s good to know that players won’t have to deal with quest progress bugs on day one. In a game as dense as Skyrim promises to be, that’s probably an important thing to keep working.

So how did they manage to let the invocation of azura glitch happen? I didn’t know the day 1 patch supposedly had quest progression fixes. That’s pathetic and suspicious.
I have the solution to this if anyone is looking. Only works for PC though. Type this into the console:
setstage MGR20 20
This works for all the broken side quests from Urag gro-Shub if you already found any of the books.
