The brand new PlayStation Plus tiers will start rolling out in some regions towards the end of May. When they do, Playstation Now will cease to exist and the service will be offered in a slightly different form as part of PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium. It appears Sony is starting to make preparations for the change as 56 games have currently been noted as leaving PS Now throughout May 2022 with more expected to join the list.
Which games are leaving Playstation Now?
So far, 56 games are thought to be leaving PS Now throughout May 2022, most of which are published by SEGA, THQ Nordic, or Konami. It’s worth mentioning that only one of the games in the list below has been confirmed by Sony. To make way for the games from Playstation and PSP consoles, this means at least 80 PS3 games are going to be leaving the service. As soon as we hear more, we’ll be sure to let you know.
In other news, the Japanese island of Tsushima is planning to sell Ghost of Tsushima merchandise in the form of the “Ghost of REAL Tsushima” line. Elsewhere, Infinity ward was once in the process of making a follow up to Call of Duty: Ghosts’ Extinction mode but it never got beyond the prototype stage.
