I’m sure that while reading this title a lot of you had a collective sigh or gasp figuring that Microsoft just spent a wad of cash on exclusive content for Final Fantasy 13. Though, you’re probably right, it’s nothing to get bent out of shape about.
Funnily enough, 360-only owners are celebrating the exclusive DLC as though it’s a slap in the face to PlayStation-only owners. What’s really funny, is a lot of these guys don’t realize that the exclusive DLC is in fact exclusive clothing and items for their dashboard avatars.
Now, after you get that chuckle out of the way, feel free to start looking forward to the full Final Fantasy experience since the majority, if not all of you, will have the ability to enjoy not only Final Fantasy 13 on March 9th, but Final Fantasy Versus XIII later on down the road as well. We know it’s tough not being able to get that exclusive clothing for your Home character, but I’m sure we’ll all get over it.

PS3 owners are getting FFXIII Home items and clothing as well.
And as far as Versus goes – the game will go multiplat eventually. I guarantee it.

Haha, I was scared for a sec. Scared that I might have to buy FFXIII on the 360 (I’d much rather buy it on the PS3), and scared that Square Enix had abandoned their fanbase.

I’ve seen FFXIII Home costumes and spaces. They were in some screenshots from a Japanese magazine I think. So the 360 owners aren’t rally getting anything more than PS3 owners for FFXIII.

Nick I seriously doubt VS will become multiplat, unless ffxiii somehow sells far better on the 360 than on the PS3, which I seriously doubt.
Either way, as long as they keep KH3 exclusive and push it as far as they can on the PS3 i’ll be happy.

Sony should just buy Square-Enix XD. J/K that would be unrealistic. But I don’t think a lot of people in ps3 would have bought the clothes if they were getting also. And the people who will brag about it will probably be some 9 year old who doesn’t know what kind of dlc they are getting.
I think the DLC that the Xbox 360 is getting for Final Fantasy 13 isn’t that great because its only clothing and items for their avatar, and not in game content. Final Fantasy 13 is still going to be better on the PS3 because of higher resolution and better graphics.
