This title would be shocking if it were made shortly after the original Modern Warfare was released two years ago. However, when you consider all of the mishaps and failures of Infinity Ward with the release of the highly anticipated sequel, it doesn’t sound too far fetched anymore.
I’m not alone and I’m sure our readers aren’t either in all of the glitches and problems that Modern Warfare 2 has displayed over the course of the last three months. Despite patching the game several times, Infinity Ward can’t get anything right and the problems continue and some even reappear after the claim that they were corrected.
Thankfully, EA’s Product Manager, Will Graham has stepped up to the plate to let fans know that there is no developer in the world that can compete with their online product.
“DICE is at the forefront of defining the multiplayer and online vehicle warfare space and has substantial pedigree in this area following many years of success. We genuinely believe there isn’t a developer out there that competes with DICE in this space, and Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is going cement that,” EA product manager Will Graham told industry mag MCV.
“The use of vehicles in Battlefield: Bad Company 2 sets it apart from the competition and no one else in the industry does this better.
“This is also something the core are very excited about: DICE’s history of delivering a multiplayer experience utilising vehicles is something that sets it apart from anything else in the market. It’s also an element that fits with the increasing emphasis on multiplayer for gamers in general.”
Would those of you who have been playing the crap out of the beta agree? I know I would. I’m very excited to get my hands on the game come early March.
This beta is a blast. As long as the game isn’t filled with glitches and hackers, I’d say it’ll be better than MW2.

Yeah Infinity Ward can compete with DICE.
Unless Bad Company 2 can have the same type of ranking system MW2 has people will just forget that game and move on.
I love MW2 and I loved playing the Bad Company 2 beta but let’s be realistic here Infinity Ward is DICE’s competition.
Even though i hate MW2 its still going to be a much more popular game than BFBC2.
I am friggin hooked on this demo BFBC2 shits all over MW2 which happens to be the most overrated online game ever.

Where does the title state that the game is better than the other shooters? No where.
You can swap out any online developer in the title and it’s still true. Infinity Ward is just the most commonly used, so why not?

all in all i think MW2 can be beat and WILL be overtaken soon, seeing as R3 and KZ3 are coming out this year (?)
I’ve been playing hours upon hours of the beta and demo, and that’s just two maps! I will buy this game at launch.
Also, I didn’t like MW2 – I used to play CoD1 a lot on PC when it first came out and then CoD2, but kinda never continued to play them as MW came out for some reason.
It’s amazing how addicted you can get just playing the same one level over and over.

Loved the Demo of Battlefield. It was amazing! But the only thing i felt uneasy with was the way you throw the grenade. Either it went too far or not close enough for me… Dunno if it’s like that for everyone or I might just be retarded :O. Graphics were better than mw2 even if it’s in a demo and they should have added the desert map like in the beta :'(.

MW2 was terribly bugged and overrated by the looks of everyone’s opinion. I had enough MW with the first, can’t even be bothered to pick up yet another FPS.
Until Timesplitters 4 or a remake of an older game comes out, I think I’m bailing out off FPS games for a while.
i like mw better then mw2 but nothing beats bfbc2
Call of Duty 4 is better than Modern Warfare 2…. and nothing thats an FPS game can stand next to Battlefield Bad Company 2. Infinity ward you fucked Modern Warfare 2 up by putting you can make the combination of Marathon, Lightweight and Commando. campers and akimbo shotgun runners.

I’m really loving the BFBC2 demo,though i doubt it will match MW2 popularity and sales. I Wish MW2 and Halo never existed.
I got more enjoyment from the BC2 beta and demo, then I did from the entire MW2 experience. This game is going to kick so much arse, I cannot wait.
The two are too different to actually compare them. But hype for B:BC2.

Infinity Ward already beat DICE, I mean jesus its not like everyone’s going to buy BFBC2 like how MW2, IMO BFBC is not being hyped as much as much as MW2 in the months before its release/
Infinity Wards should of released a beta for people to try and send bugs they found, so that Infinity Wards could fix it. They instead released the game just base on hype and the game was filled with glitches and bugs. I am hoping that Battlefield: Bad Company 2 will have less bugs and glitches, since they did a long beta phase for it.
Wow, 4 vs 4 online… talk about limiting the experience of online matches… MAG is 256 players game and MW2 has 32 players maps…
