When Visceral and EA released Dead Space, it was a breath of fresh air from a publishing company that had started to become a little stale and expected. However, this survival horror thriller caught everyone off guard and introduced gamers to Isaac Hayes. Now, with Dead Space 2 in full development, gamers are looking for more out of the sequel than the original and are anticipating a game that has now become a household name within the realm of the hardcore.
Geoff Keighley twittered today that Visceral plans on showing up real-time gameplay footage of Dead Space 2 next week during their Pre-E3 special. This should excite many gamers as it will obviously give the first real in-depth look at the sequel that many of us are anticipating.
Whether you like the genre or not, it’s hard to deny that the game is beautiful in terms of sick, twisted visuals that sometimes can make the hair on your arm stand straight. Is anyone as excited as I am to see what Visceral has to offer next week?
Nice, this will be a nice little present for after my mid years next week 😀
I think I’m putting this one on a media blackout… haha. If the game retains it’s scary appeal, even if it’s going the way of more action, then I don’t want to spoil myself by having the scare taken away because I’ve already seen gameplay clips of it. Not that I’m not excited for the game but I just do this for games I know I’ll end up buying 😉
Isaac Hayes…Isaac Clarke?
I loved Dead Space but like most people my biggest complaint were just the pointless retrieval missions/fixing stuff missions, which were the majority of the game. Hopefully Issac can man up with his newfound voice and tell some peeons to fix the f*#@*ing generators themselves if they want to get things done.
I gotta start watching GTTV I guess. Can’t wait to see some gameplay.
Oh, and LOL @ Isaac Hayes. It’s Isaac Clarke, n00b.
