Dreamcast Classics coming to PSN

Over the last couple of years with the addition of classic titles being made ready for download on the PlayStation Store, gamers have started to ask for PlayStation 2 and Dreamcast titles to be made available as well. Finally, it looks as though 50% of that wish is going to be granted as SEGA has announced plans to bring Dreamcast Classics to the PSN.

Announced today on the official SEGA Blog, it has been confirmed that Crazy Taxi and Sonic Adventure will be the first two titles arriving for download later this year. It was also revealed that the titles will be over-hauled with updates visuals and sound as well.

“The games incorporate all-new enhancements and features such as high resolution visuals and surround sound. Online leader boards are now implemented, allowing players to compare their skills with friends across the world! In addition to this, all-new Achievement and Trophy integration will be available for each game released.”

  1. SEGA! Love the Dreamcast but my all time fav Sega game I would like to have downloadable would be Phantasy Star IV.

  2. I’d love to play Sonic Adventure and SA2 again. Maybe they’ll have Jet Set
    Radio, I hear it’s great.

  3. NICE crazy taxi rocked XD

  4. Totally missed Dreamcast, only game I know of is Shenmue.

  5. The only game I’ve ever played for Dreamcast is Crazy Taxi. I think it’s quite ironic that we are seeing dreamcast games well before ps2 games on the psn xD

  6. Irony FTW

Can’t wait, it’s about time. Hopefully Shenmue is released fast but Sonic Adventure was one of my favorites on Dreamcast.

  10. What I want them to do is Daytona USA.
