Dead Rising 2 delayed

Terrible news hit this morning when Capcom sent word and revealed that the heavily anticipated zombie title, Dead Rising 2, was being pushed back a full month. Originally scheduled for an August 31st release in North America and September 3rd in Europe, gamers are now going to have to wait just a tad longer.

The new release plans are as follows: September 28th in North America and October 1st in Europe.

Sadly, Capcom didn’t give any detail as to why this delay took place, but we’re sure it was for nothing more than to add on some finishing touches that they wouldn’t have otherwise been able to make. Regardless, expect a more polished piece of work with this extra month of development time.

  1. They are probably still deciding on a save system for the game. Should we go with only one save a week or every second Tuesday lol. I wasn’t getting this anyways. Other than Mega Man remakes Capcom’s games have been meh this gen.

  2. Capcom needs to make this great. They haven’t done much great stuff this year. MM10 and TvC and that’s it, really.
