EA Sports has released its yearly release schedule for the upcoming sports gaming season and one key thing to note is that FIFA 11 has been moved up into September. According to reports, EA had to move FIFA up in the lineup in order to make room for EA MMA in October without over-releasing titles in October alone — after all, the wallet does need a one week break.
NCAA Football 11– July 13th
Madden NFL 11- August 10th
NHL 11- September 7th
FIFA 11- September 28th
NBA Elite 11- October 5th
NBA Jam- October 5th
EA Sports MMA- October 19th
So, basically, almost week after week you can get your hands on a sports game from EA Sports that is more than likely going to deliver entertainment worthy of the purchase price.
NBA JAM!!!
FIFA and NHL are also shaping up nicely, lol.
Ugh, too many sports titles. And we thought year after year was bad. I think this will hurt the sales a little. No one is going to buy a sport’s game every week, including the sports fanatics.
