Sony announced Firmware 3.50 a little while ago, but didn’t go into too much detail as to what it would include outside of full 3D support for Blu-ray movies. Today, however, the full list of details have surfaced and now we know what is coming online tomorrow after the scheduled maintenance. Surprisingly enough, it feels as though this is a worthwhile update — the first in awhile.
Check below for the full details.
Features and Changes:
-3D BluRay Support
-Move can be used as web browser cursor.
-Users reports can be sent from PS3 through the ‘Friends’ tab.
-3D notice screen for 3D enabled games.
-You can access to your Facebook profile
-Better description of the 14 most common errors.
-Updated user interface for PlayStation Plus in PlayStation Store.
-New Qriocity icon in the Music section. Service still unavailable.
interested in Qriocity, anyone know anything more about it apart from that its a streaming music service?
Nice update. I’m getting it now after it crashed while downloading it 3 times.
Off topic: Something I noticed earlier is the “players met” section of the XMB never updates anymore.

The PSN servers are down for maintenance until 5PM PST. As of right now that is about 2.5 hours away. In the meantime you probably won’t be able to sign into the service.
