Developers People Can Fly and Epic Games have announced that a Bulletstorm demo will be hitting the Xbox 360 on January 25th, and PlayStation 3 January 26th.
The demo will give players as sneak peek into the Echo mode, in which gamers assume the role of ex-Dead Echo leader Grayson Hunt. There you will battle your enemies on the collapsed building on the deadly paradise planet known as Stygia.
In addition, gamers will be able to get their hands on the skillshot system, which will serve as a basic mechanic for Bulletstorm. The skillshot system rewards players who dispense their enemies in creative ways; making the classic headshot seem dull. Gamers will be able to enjoy a variety of the game’s weapons, as well; the Peace Maker Carbine, a futuristic assault rifle; the Screamer, which essentially turns your enemies into fireworks. Weapon combinations will also be allowed, adding to the skillshot fun.
Upgrades made during the demo will be transferred into the final release’s Anarchy Mode.
Bulletstorm releases February 25th for the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. Xbox 360 gamers will have the option to get the Epic Edition, giving them access to the Gears of War 3 beta, as well as additional in-game content. PS3 and PC gamers will be able to get the Limited Edition, which will include extra content.
