So, Killzone 3 is the first leak Sony’s PlayStation 3 has officially been hit with since the entire jailbreaking of the console has taken place. We’re of course talking about when GeoHot publicly released the key code to unlock the entire console itself allowing it to be susceptible to pretty much anything.
Currently, the full version of Killzone 3 is making its way around the internet at a whopping 41.4 GBs and a non-3D version is also being made available at half the size. I’m almost 100% sure that this shouldn’t effect Sony’s software sales too drastically considering most people won’t be finished downloading the game until after the official release to store shelves (which is pretty funny).
Obviously a good chunk of people can download 41GBs in a week, but not everyone has that type of download speed available to them.
It’ll be interesting to see how Sony responds to this situation and how it will effect its games going forward. Stick with us to find out as time goes by.
41 is alot! I hope this jailbreak issue ends soon.
Heh. No biggie. I can do 40 gb in 2 hours over Fiber. Seriously though, the game is awesome so support the developers.
Cheapest Bluray drive =69 bucks and 1 bluray disk = 26 bucks and the time to download and jailbreak ps3 , might as well buy the damn game.
There is a non-3D version up for half of that yanno 😛
blackgold jailbreaking the ps3 takes literally 10 minutes
