This year, the development team behind NCAA 12 at Electronic Arts is looking to step its game up. Sure, you can call this first trailer a “new coat of paint,” but just like when your car or house receives that new luxurious paint job, it looks damn good. This time around, EA is introducing a new lighting style to one of its key franchises and is also going after a key element we didn’t expect — realistic grass.
To be honest, as a huge sports gamer, NCAA 12 is looking fantastic thus far. It may be difficult to take my word for it since I purchase it every year, but due to the new dynamic lighting and effects, the players just look more lifelike than ever before.
Don’t believe me? Check out the trailer below.

Game certainly looks pretty, and the momentum-based tackling sounds promising. But will the game really be that much better? I did an analysis on the gameplay trailer on my blog at http://www.megabearsfan.net/post/2011/04/26/NCAA-Football-2012-Trailer-analysis.aspx. Check it out!
