The latest issue of Edge Magazine has revealed a ton of new information in regards to Max Payne 3 and what fans of the franchise can expect to enjoy while playing the upcoming sequel upon its release. As expected, a lot of the things that made the original Max Payne title a must-own game will be back and featured prominently within gameplay.
These features obviously include: bullet-time, bullet-cam, and shoot dodge mechanics. Furthermore, Rockstar has placed a lot of time and resources into further maximizing its motion capture and the Euphoria physics engine as well. Edge also let slip that MP3 is going to offer multiplayer and that it is going to be a significant part of the game. Hopefully, unlike other MP-focused titles, this won’t deter the single-player side of things from being as lengthy and memorable as possible.
Unfortunately, more details were not released about the multiplayer experience, but they do plan on releasing more details about this mode of play in the near future — so stay posted. Once that information is released, we’ll be sure to bring it to you front and center as always.
