Hideo Kojima won’t be attending E3, although teases new project

Developer Hideo Kojima has revealed via Twitter a teaser image depicting two monitors recording what is suspected to be cinematics for his latest project.

“Recording was so much fun,” said Kojima. “The voice-over made me feel nostalgic-ish.”

The image doesn’t really show enough to decipher what the new title is, however this may be one of the upcoming titles to be revealed at E3.

While Kojima has decided to not personally attend E3 this year, the company still plans to show off a few exciting announcements. In the April issue of PSM3, Kojima stated that two titles will be making an appearance at the convention, “one a quasi-logical step for an existing game” and the other rumored to be related to the Metal Gear Solid franchise.
